Welcome to Maraire Enterprises. The label where music with a meaning to feed the soul is our focus. For the first half of his life our CEO Tendai Maraire spent his music career building the name of other labels executive producers. Performing and producing to build the names of others, Mr. Maraire felt that the music he created was never respected for its true meaning. So in 1999 Mr. Maraire decided to start his own indie label which he named Maraire Enterprises.

Maraire Enterprises is a label committed to producing albums that the artists talent is showcase in its pure form. We believe that it is our job to communicate what an artist feels and wants to express to its listener. Whether its the audio recording, the video, or just the live show we feel that we are committed to developing our artists talents. In this day and age of music we want to try to be innovative and original as possible with our artists, without selling out to gain pop recognition. We feel no matter the genre it is today, many artist are forced to make music they think people like, instead of just creating original music that feels good to the artists.

Maraire Enterprises believes that music listeners are all looking to hear music that affects there life. We believe that today's listener is tired of purchasing music that is focused on jingles, radio play, and commercial licensing. Our thoughts is that the listener today wants to be touched, motivated and related to my the music they buy. We feel that when you purchase a Maraire Enterprises album you are making an investment that will change your life, the way you think and your knowledge of the artists culture that you have invested in. Its is a goal of ours to bring people together one release at a time.

As for future releases, Maraire Enterprises will release new albums by Sukutai, Boy Wonder, Baba Maraire and others. We will also re-release some old Dumisani Maraire Marimba albums, ranging from the Maraire Marimba Ensemble releases to the Minanzi releases. We will even release some never before heard live recordings of Dumi with some of his early marimba bands as well as a rare recording of him with his son Tendai which has never been heard. All of the recording have been digitally remastered and we have done our best to give keep their analog sound that Dumi loved. All together the future for Maraire Enterprises promises to give you some some history as well as what to look to for generations to come.
